date night: DC style

Tonight P and I went on the best date.

First -- dinner at my favorite pizza place OF ALL TIME. 2Amy's. P's aunt took me there when I first moved to DC four years ago, and I was hooked immediately. It may have factored heavily in our choice to move.

We get the Norcia and we recommend that you add olives. Also, order olives. Also, order bruschetta. I know, it's a lot of the same ingredients as pizza...but it's worth it. It's so good.

Then we went and finally saw Bridesmaids. OH MY GOSH. It was so funny. (Thank goodness someone finally told me that women were funny -- I had no idea?! No. Just kidding. I know, as a woman, it's important that I say "Just kidding" at the ends of jokes.) But actually it is just so funny. Sometimes I find that I fidget with my phone during Office-esque awkward humor, but I still loved it.
