(In which we remember that we aren't alone!)
One thing I'd like to do more of in this cyber space is connect to other bloggers and websites and cultural moments in which struggles for simplicity (in closet, heart & home) are highlighted. I know this is sort of the point of the internet, but I am always so comforted and surprised when I stumble upon someone asking the same questions that I am!
I made six goals for the holiday season, including giving homemade gifts (gift guide here: part one -- homemade gifts to make; part two -- homemade gifts to buy) & having someone new over for dinner.
Well, over at the fantastically-titled blog, Rage Against the Minivan, I found this handy Occupy Christmas list. ;) I really think, just like recession dressing marketing, a tide is turning. More and more of us, in these shaky times, are thinking up ways to focus on what matters most: each other. Here are a few charities to keep in mind, too, if you are looking for that perfect last-minute gift!

love this!
